Questions
Before you call
What is the difference between MIOSHA and OSHA?
Michigan runs its own occupational safety and health program through MIOSHA, which is approved by federal OSHA. Michigan employers generally follow MIOSHA standards, and many are similar to federal OSHA standards. Which applies to a specific task depends on the operation.
Can you help after a citation?
We can review the cited items, help you understand the corrective actions and strengthen the related programs and training. Questions about contesting a citation or other legal matters belong with your attorney.
Do you represent us before MIOSHA?
No. We provide technical consulting and documentation support. Legal representation should come from your attorney.
